Brambled branches bare

Bare my soul,

Few leaves scattered

In the night.

 

Stars spot the sky

Like a long-lost

Love forgotten,

Few and far between.

 

Dark navy blue,

Silk of the sky,

My eyes sparkle

With a hope renewed.
