Yes, I like the way your mind works... At the risk of sounding like JustRose, I think this has the ghost of Dorothy Parker foreshadowing its sentiment. There's a somewhat dark, ironic, poignant humour in its sense. This also had me imagining someone scrawling these words on a wall in some kind of literary sanatorium (and if you should ever find such a place, please may I have the address).
