radiant.

radiant.

A Poem by jenniewren (J.W. Bouwman)

the smile you gave
slipped stealthily
along the perimeter
of my (admittedly paltry)
defenses…
sneaking in
upon stockinged feet
to take up residence,
mousequiet and softly warm,
in a heart still wounded
from the last time

A well placed smile, a soft touch and a combination hair flip with a giggle can do that to you. ITs good to hold on to the moments even though they too pass and leave a little to be desired. Great, poignant and hard hitting piece wrapped in a fuzzy warm blanket. Geat work kit.
