chiromancy.

chiromancy.

A Poem by jenniewren (J.W. Bouwman)

her palm trembled
extended
empty
each line marking
the places she had
remaining

(there's a hole
in this bucket
dear liza
but she's forgotten
how to fix it)

if you cared to
you could reach out
trace the years
she has lived
see where the lines
coincide with smiles

Our bodies tell a story, each line or wrinkle depending where it is located has a defined history with it. yes our palms, they tell a story indeed even our future supposedly. I love the trace the years she has lived see where the lines coincide with smiles. One can only hope their are many coincide lines with smiles. Wonderful write.

That would be at most of the intersections I think, sans a few on the periphery. I know that all the lines intersect with beauty and awesomeness. I love that middle stanza, gives the whole thing a little different feel...bravo.
