winter green.

winter green.

A Poem by jenniewren (J.W. Bouwman)

winter green
is a subtle newness
a paler colour
of hidden potential
and sleeping promise

a ghost of spring's
vibrant lushness
hiding in unsuspecting places
only dreamers know
how to find

the coloured flash
i feel when
your chilled fingers curl
warmly
round the nape of my neck

You create an ambience of colour... one that comes alive like a character in a novel... a life that hides and seeks in the shadows. Here is a sensual awakening of spring in the deepest dead of winter.

the seasons make us feel, or, they don't - if the chill yet promise of winter doesn't touch a person, then, nothing will

words leading to a deep thought .. lovely

This is the what I was talking about in my last review with a girls broken dreams. I love the hope and promise that the change in seasons brings and then the smell of impending summer hot on the heels. Lovely.
