A Poem by jenniewren (J.W. Bouwman)

you speak
the syllables
of my heart
so softly
the cooing birds
who hide in the rafters
pause
in their comfort
to listen

Nice. it makes me feel peaceful, but slightly alarmed. the eyes of birds peeking into such an intimate moment.....eavesdropping. nosey little freaks! or would a nosy bird be called beaky? hmmm. ;D
good short. love it.
cheers!
