a slivered wish
created the gap that allowed you entry into my life i hadn't thought to wish for you, directly after all, who'd have thought you were something i could have? i'd always saved my wishes for things it wouldn't hurt too much not to get, knowing that wishes, too often, rarely came true for wildhaired floaty heart girls with more hope than sense no, the things i used my wishes on could never matter quite as much as this kindred heart that beats so in time with my own
