the meanings that lie

between 

the blink of an eyelash 

and 

the flick of a smile

you telegraph your feelings

like tremors along

a kitten's whiskers

so when your thickly square fingers

slide, stretchingly,

between mine

i can feel in their casual clench

all the things you'll never say

but, nevertheless, will always feel

I really liked this piece, as usual. Probably getting sick of me saying that, aren't you....nevertheless, and exquisite piece. Vivid imagery for sure...I love me some imagery....I love the line "you telegraph your feelings". Completely jealous-making....
