choke.

choke.

A Poem by jenniewren (J.W. Bouwman)

when the brain
fastens itself
upon a thing
it digs in
gouging the needle
through the groove

an indelible mark
whose ache is felt
indefinitely

For me these would be words on fixating on something or someone..that is how i read it..the human nervous system has silly ways of functioning...it feeds on thoughts and flourishes on them..it is on us to loosen the knot and stop at a point to build castles of thoughts for what are thoughts..just amorphous, transient illusions...wish we worked somewhat on lines of 'eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.'.:)
You get the message across so so well in just few words..such a pithy striking piece.

Why do our brains obsess like that? I guess you can say the same of the heart. But no one would think to say with such beautiful imagery that speaks truth.

A thought is a powerful thing, a desire eclipses a thought by a hundred fold and a necessity is the ever expanding universe. Great thoughts here kitten....
