![]() RoutineA Poem by jenniewren (J.W. Bouwman)when did my kisses become routine? when did that suffusing warmth that happens only when you place your lips on mine such gorgeous softness that i ache for when did that become
just routine?
when did the love i hold so deeply for you it aches in quiet midnight hours when you are sleeping, and i, awake, am afraid to move in case it disturbs your rest, when did that become something mundane something that gives you no sense of wonder?
the curves of my form that mould to your palm are now roads you know too well... so well memorised, now, that all my magic is gone discarded in the everyday minutiae of the routine © 2009 jenniewren (J.W. Bouwman)Featured Review
