Oblivious

a season's change

an image's fade

a world's collapse


a whimper in the dark

a high tiny whine

of sound in your ear


the reverberation of a sound

when it is dying

the last death knell of a frequency

you will soon cease to know exists


tho' whether you knew

of its existence

in the first place

seems to be up for debate

i like the surreal imagery this piece creates, makes me think and thats great, also has me wondering what exactly it is about, death..the fleeting moment of sound, those glimpses of everyday life that people take for granted but are full of enlightenment...in any case i enjoyed the read and look forward to reading more.
