A Poem by jenniewren (J.W. Bouwman)

sugarrich
you smile
and i break
and i break
like waves against a shore
that crumbles eagerly
before we
have ever even touched

You have always had the gift of gathering words together and breathing life into them. Everything here unfolds in that breath by breath magic even as the darkness comes in every wave washing over you. The tension is alive.

“A true romance is not something that happens between the skins. It is something that burns our souls beautifully and leaves us craving to be destroyed even more.” ― Akshay Vasu

I am in awe of your ability to make so few words as beautiful as you have.

Short, shape poignant write with great imagery - When negative emotional waves crash and crumble even before we know what's happening - nice work :-)

This brings those feelings that we only really get a few times in our lifetime into sharp focus. The ache, the need, the desire. Heavy sigh.....loved this long time...

damn, this is good...just enough here to leave a feeling of wanting, an anticipation...having someone close by, and feeling that wonderful crumble...

I always found the most wonderful things come in small packages. Great piece, Jennie...and very nice to meet you!

Lovely skeleton. You always made them with a skin so binding yet still translucent to the eye and I see your distinct linguistics as the meaning key and reason why bones dont shuffle off this earth and at this moment as your mind reflects an ocean as it laps lovingly on beach as grains give way beneath a sky of stars long since turned memory to all but notions brim with romance right now your words are a raft upon which I choose to float and forget how I am always close to drowning
