Where Are You?

Where Are You?

A Poem by Jenna Lynn

out at eleven, "be back soon!"
hours later, "where are you, it's almost two!"

i don't know what you're doing, and i don't think i want to
you won't answer the phone, what can i do?

left here with YOUR toddler, who i can't even keep entertained
i'll smile and laugh with him but it's all forced and strained

because you're out and about, no clue where you are
in all likelihood, you're out at a bar.
