Blue Stars

I'll hold you up high
just for you to say goodbye
I'm disgusting, dressed in shame
some of it's emotion
but your blue stars are to blame

close your ears, this is the bad part
words hurt and bleed like a poison dart
I'm leaking, my body is far from drought
I'll drown here in your seven seas of doubt
accusations, they're all over me
that person is someone I'll never be

because I was once, and look what its done

it's tearing apart my only one

sugarcoating won't change a thing

because through every layer, the words still sting

I swear I'm different, I swear I'm good

and yet, nothing's turning out the way it should..
