Missing You

Missing You

A Poem by Jenna Lynn

I was at my house less than I was at yours--
your thoughts in my head, my clothes in your drawers.
Watching horror movies all summer long;
acting stubborn, even if we're both wrong.
There wasn't a thing about me that you didn't know,
you were there for me when I was the lowest I could go.
People thought we were lesbian, but they couldn't understand,
I had absolutely no problem with holding my best friend's hand.
