Simple

A Poem by Jenna R Bryant

They say that talk is cheap and not to trust in people; that I will get hurt if I give someone something valuable. But what is the world without trust? Nothing. There wouldn’t be a world, just a sad, anxious planet. Never would we be able to go anywhere. People would kill out of pure worry. Our existence would end quickly, in a desperate way. Cancer would end us if plain stress didn’t. We are stuck. Why lie? It causes suspicion, jealousy, hatred. A fire within us spreads the fury along. Can I listen to you? Can I trust anyone? Yes. We are all different, but yet the same. We want love, support, and trust. We want to be needed, but we can’t if we have no one. So go ahead push the ones that once loved you to the side. You don’t trust them, so they leave. Feeling inferior to those who must constantly need assurance that no one is “out to get them”. Maybe its anxiety, some kind of disorder. Enough with the excuses! No reason can lead to be so anxious. Always checking, look behind you just to be sure. This will end you. Put your head up. Close your eyes and envision your world the way you want it. If you want an untrusting dying race, let that happen. But keeping the peace is a much stronger sense, then negativity. If there is no need for an argument stay away, far away. Navigate your way through life, not just living for you, for now you can trust in people. Finally you have found your map that will lead you home. Trust me.

I speak truth and even rote a blog entry about integrity earlier. You tell people the truth and they will hate you, because they want people to sugarcoat and stroke their egos. Personal experience. I get around. Anyways!

I enjoyed this. You will be a strong person if you keep your moral fiber. I wrote an entire book which more or less had a morality theme. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein had a lot of morality tied into it. She, without a doubt, is the first lady amongst authors, and one of my heroes. Food for thought.

Man has a recurring theme of not trusting each other. It's all tied into pride. I hope you write more as i look forward to seeing more excellent work from you :). And hey, you should add me here. It makes it easier for me to check all stuff :) Great work :)
