Breath of life

Breath of life

A Poem by Jen

I am nothing,
a garbage bag full of trash.
My heart, empty,
where has all the love gone?
Someone PLEASE breath life,
back into me, bring me back my senses.
give to me some sparkle of hope,
some glimmer of light,
some way to cope.
Give back to me my youth,
you stole, while in the backseat,
 of a Gremlin,
arms swinging, hands fisted,
go ahead hit me, you drunken b*****d,
of a father,
you fool!
I don't want to exist,
i don't want to die,
i want to LIVE,
i want to fly!!

your poem goes back and forth from yearning to live and not wanting to live...old memories can make one just want to die...and yet we strive to live...
