My prayer for Joe

My prayer for Joe

A Poem by Jen
"

In 2001 my best friend and father to my son was killed tragically in a snowmobile accident. He was 29 years old.

"
Stretch far across this battle field,
where my heart remains at war,
let me love this life iv'e chosen,
and put to rest my sorrow and woe,
let me reflect on memories of him,
with a joyful heart and kindred soul,
remind me lord of the gifts you have given me,
when things seem beyond my control,
let his spirit fly freely, in my life always,
and always mine with him,
guide me lord to be the best mother i can be,
keep him safely in your arms, till once again,
he can walk along with me.
