Number Three...

Even in the darkest of times

You’ve built me up

You build me up higher than Mt. Everest

When I was trapped in my blackest hole of depression

You built a ladder of love and compassion

Climbed down and showed me hope

You built me up.

Number Two…

You will always be a die-hard Cubs fan

And I will love you anyway

From the moment I sent you the first set of roses

I had fallen, hard, and deeply in love with you

Just like the roots of a dandelion

The love I have for you goes deeper everyday

it will always be rooted in the garden of your heart

Because my love for you is never ending

Number One…

You’ve Saved me…

From my own worst enemy, myself.

from the terrors of my nightmares

from the depths of suicide and depression

You’ve given me the three greatest gifts in life

Love, Hope, and Family.
