I wrote this song based off a sonnet I wrote for English class last year :)

And I know there's an easier way

And you see the light of day

Sometimes I'm wishing

You'd say what I want you to say

Sometimes I can see him

Feels like I'm floating in space

Take my hand tonight

Until the morning's light

The trees will sway below

And birds are taking flight

I was wandering afar

But now I feel so right

You are my shining star

How do you shine so bright?

I don't know if you've ever read or studied anything about Carl Jung's archetypes, but thats one of many things i am currently studying myself. With that said i cant help but think of the anima/animus archetype when reading this beautiful piece of work. There is a lot of symbolism behind this song i can relate myself to and appreciate the opportunity to do exactly that. If you performed or even just recorded this song ill be on the lookout. Excellent work.
