Could my rope be tangled in the same knot?
Was your heart really all I knew?
From whose soul did you call mine?
And did they know I needed you?

I let go before I had the guarantee to fall.
You let go before you had the chance to catch me.
Our love in limbo.
Our faith on earth.
Intertwining in the heavens,
Your grains and my pearls.

Could my words be repeating lines I've once written?
Did your heart go through the same storm?
From whose lips do you speak from?
And how do they stay so warm?
