Spring

Spring

A Poem by Awakened Rose

Rain greets my vessel as does shame
For loving the truth just as much as the pain
and always keeping my heart in a brighter day

Yet nothing in me yearns for blue skies
For the darker ones have come to be a lovely goodbye

Ah! So touchable poem! I love the last two lines of this beautiful piece of art. The title and of course the words you use ..both are exploring the beauty of whole poem so, i`m pleased to read this poem. Well done!

This is a dark twist on spring that I really enjoyed. Great opening line, dramatic and rich in meaning, as the symbolism of rain cleanses while giving life. An enigmatic ending, just perfect. Penny
