PleaA Poem by Jennie Chains
Wrapped in a blanket safe from the cold ~ still shivering inside
I can't break free, it's crushing down on me ~ ripping me apart Aching for comfort, I whimper a plea The knots inside are driving me insane I toss and turn trying to escape Sweet slumber, take me in your embrace I can not take this pain another day Confusion whirls around in my head Clutching to sanity, I fall to my knees, throw up my arms and scream A small rumble of the storm that grows inside, yearning to be free~ © 2011 Jennie ChainsFeatured Review
