just a poem i wrote for my blog about love, love i wish i could find.

the war is raging on

i am not done

our love is not gone

like the rising sun

 

a soldier marching

into death to fight

for the mighty king

you are my light

 

of my life

the one I want

there be no strife

only nonchalant

 

let this war die

let the wedding bells ring

in heavens high

for the mighty king

 

has won

your love for me

like the rising sun

you hold the key

 

to our hearts

to be as one

let us not depart

 

before we are done….
