The Lucky Punch

The Lucky Punch

A Poem by oxo

If you love boxing, you probably watched,
          the Pacquiao-Marquez rematch.
both were strong and fast, it is very exciting to watch.
by round six, they fought, not knowing it's the end;
Marquez throws one more punch and that made everything bend.
Pacquiao  fell down, facing the ground, Oh he looked like a stick;
his legs crossed, his consciousness lost,
that punch put him to sleep.
and so the crowd roared, emotions flowed,
and Jinky suddenly cried;
marquez was shocked, I bet he was, and that was the end of the fight.
Filipinos around the world made a lot of noise
           than people in L.A.
For our Pacman was lost, those who bet for him lost,
           he lost the belt again.
but because for us, he's always a winner,
we just made it a laugh;
we termed it the 'lucky punch' that made Pacquiao's nerve go 'snap'.
So this knock-out, i swear, will be placed in history;
and the 'lucky punch' that defeat our Pound for Pound King, Manny.

haha. whatever happens. :)
I saw the fight. I don't think it luck so much as more agressive fighter. Roberto Duran was always my favorite boxer...
