Desolation

Perfume

A splendid presence

In this desolate place

Where oblivion awaits.

Hearts purer than mine quake

Beneath the black glass like sky

My soul is not serene

Yet there are two sides to every story

So please be merciful

An "attention grabber" from the very beginning. You write with a humbled voice, which is really appealing. And also, your voice is rich with experience. Thanks for giving my third eye something to look forward to. This is a great piece.

You create such a mysterious story within your poem of few words. A beautiful creation.

"Perfume

The opening lines really caught my attention. This was formed nicely, and very intelligently written. Well done!
