Waiting For ...

Waiting For ...

A Poem by jen -- JG

Waiting For….

Roses perfume the air

A splendid smell

as we await the presence

of oblivion.

Not purer vessel now

but half empty glass

Sky no longer serene

Table set for two

We shared poisoned food

And await a merciful passing …

Indeed..a splendid write. Wonderful.
I'm wondering..how much can be said within a little of these 40 words..Means what i wrote, what you've written..and what other artists wrote. Just a set of ten words, the same used by everyone, within a limit of exact 40words..and still we're getting an entire different approach to life. Its amazing.
Thanks for writing a beautiful piece.
Regards,
rupam
