Snake and Snail

Snake and Snail

A Poem by jen -- JG
"

don't know how or why this one came about

"

SNAKE AND SNAIL

Hidden behind translucent veil

Whisper and slither snake and snail

Letting not the truth be known

They safely rest ‘neath callus grown.

Time will pierce translucent veil

Encompassing both snake and snail

Honesty cleaves the callus grown

Now at last the truth be known.

Truth will heal translucent veil

Destroy the lure of snake and snail

Conquer then the fear not known

And love will melt the callus grown.

This has a VERY classic touch to it. And the illiteration of "snake and snail" is wonderful It flows off the toungue so well.

I didn't know you had this in you.
