Tarzan’s Picnic

Tarzan arrived on a camel’s back

Waving a shark by the fin

The crocodile snapped and swished his tail

While Jane rubbed a very sore shin.

The grizzly bear danced and reared with delight

As he showed off his armor of tin

He said he’d found a new honey hive

And that -- the bees had invited him in!

The lion roared in terrible pain

‘cause he slipped and fell on a pin

the Tiger said he’d remove all his stripes

and tie them beneath Panther’s chin.

The agonized look on poor Panther’s face

Was enough to make them all grin.

Elephant said --he’d–just rock and roll

While Rhino just sat in the bin.

The Anteater used his tongue as a crutch

When he went to sleep in his skin

Then all the animals quietly left

And Tarzan and Jane shared a grin.

You seem to have a nice collection of children's poems that you should get illustrated and published.
Again, well done.

I found this stanza extremely adorable.
Another very nice work!
Another one that I would absolutely LOVE to see illustrated =]
