As Long As

As Long As

A Poem by jen -- JG
"

A love poem or song maybe - the sentiment is true anyway

"

AS LONG AS

As long as rivers run to the sea

This love of ours will always be

From midnight sky till noon day sun

You and I ----will be as one

With future bright and shadows past

This love we share will ---always last.

As long as poets write the sweetest words

As long as there are trees and birds

As long as oceans kiss the golden sands

As long as lovers, keep holding hands

As long as there are stars in the sky

This love of ours will never die

As long as there are stars in the sky

This love of ours will ---- never die.

Congrats on winning the contest! This really is a sweet and sentimental poem. As long as oceans kiss the golden sands, my favorite line!

Once again you do a pretty good job with successive lines of rhyme.

you tiptoe along the line of triteness, but never seem to completey cross over it, which is a delicate balance, indeed!

"As long as lovers, keep holding hands"

this whole paragraph/verse was my favorite, but that was my favorite line within that verse.

great job. you were recommended to me by... AJ Smith, my new friend. So hopefully I've met another friend through you :)

hugs
