The Wrong Side of FortyA Poem by jen -- JGJust a bit of fun for getting "younger?"
THE WRONG SIDE OF FORTY
They say I’m the wrong side of forty I’ve discovered my mind is quite naughty Instead of whinging and whining I’m out dancing and dining For new life began at age forty
Oh, my body just loves being forty And my mind enjoys being naughty I’ve been danced, I’ve been dined I’ve been chauffeured, and wined Who says I’m the wrong side of forty.
When I’m ninety, I’m sure I’ll be naughty ‘cause I’ll always be just --- " turning forty!" Blonde hair or grey,----- whatever my age, Night time or day ----I’ll be ready to rage For I’m NEVER the wrong side of forty.
