Why doesn’t the heart yield to logic?

Why does it instead cling to things like magic?

Why does it choose to be blinded?

Why does it not realize even when reminded?

 

What does it hope to achieve or gain?

What does it do will all the emotional pain?

What can I do to avoid going this road again?

What should I do so that victory goes to the brain?

 

Where does the hearts power come from?

Where does it get off making me so dumb?

Where is the tenacity to stand up come from?

Where does it get the strength not to succumb?

 

How does the heart manage to kick the brains a*s?

How does it survive breaking like glass?

How can it be as tenacious as grass?

How does the heart take all the pain and still manage to last?
