HerA Poem by jemaralThis piece is my first attempt at poetry collaboration with the poetic Kuldeep desai... if you like you should check out his personal works as well.. http://www.writerscafe.org/kuldeepBack then when I met her under the oak I was no one but a regular bloke Nothing to my name but a single smoke To catch her attention I cracked a joke She smiled coyly like a naughty stranger With that I knew my heart was in danger I fancied myself like a Texas ranger But to her I was just a mere granger There was no telling what was on her mind Logic nor reason I could never find It was like the north south east west combined She took my breath away and I resigned She was like a hurricane and a storm Stunning to behold natures great art form She can be selfish and yet kind and warm As unpredictable as the bees that swarm She went as quickly as she had arrived As she left, happiness I was deprived My heart lay broken and yet I survived With the next windstorm I will be revived © 2015 jemaralAuthor's Note
