Twenty nine years I have wandered this earth

I have never felt this way since my birth

I won’t say that you alone caught my eye

But only you make me soar through the sky

 

I will not speak of Illusions of youth

You deserve nothing less but the pure truth

You are not the only beauty in vision

Yet it’s you who has my hearts decision

 

Your essence is not one of perfection

But it is you that holds my affection

Many may have garnered my admiration

Yet you are the reason for my elation

 

Many a flower blooms in life’s grasslands

Yet you’re the blossom I want in my hands

In this world flowing with beauty and grace

None of them but you can make my pulse race

 

Women with lips of roses I may meet

Only your smile makes my heart skip a beat

Well dressed ladies may captivate my gaze

No one but you can set my heart ablaze

 

Silky haired damsels are cute I confess

But it’s your face I would rather caress

 Siren voiced girls I may lend my ear

Tis your ballad my soul desires to hear

 

Charming princesses may pass by my way

Only your glance can take my breath away

For the fairest queen I may bend my knee

To you alone I offer all of me

 

Only you can clear my mind with a smile

You alone make living life more worthwhile

Only you can soothe my soul with your voice

You alone are my hearts ultimate choice
