To my Bibliophilic Scorpion Muse... I hope this reaches you.. I know you that your going through something right now.. and it breaks my heart that i can't do anything to ease your pain..

 I gaze upon your eyes and I see pain

You  hide behind a smile without stain

My chest aches as I watch helpless again

Seeing you hurt may be my hearts worst bane

 

Even in distress you display great grace

Never would you let pain show on your face

Torment with strength you usually replace

For me by your side will there be a place?

 

I want to be the one you show your tears

A defender who fights off all you fears

When you gripe and fret I will be all ears

The one by your side All through out the years

Be the one whose name you write on the sand

Who takes you on an adventure so grand

Through thick or thin by your side I shall stand

 

Let me be the man who listens when you speak

Be the man who when you cry wipes your cheek

Be the man every day of the week

Who gives you heart whatever it will seek

To be smitten by you is no easy task

I don’t expect you to feel the same All I ask

Please let me see the lady behind the mask

I am here by your side waiting just ask
