Teardrop

inspired from a the phrase i read somwhere that said " If I could be anything I would be your teardrop born in your eyes living in your cheeks and dyin on your lips".

If I could be anything

I would be your teardrop

 

Born in the lake of your eyes

Living in the valley of your cheeks

Dying in the tenderness of your lips

 

If fulfilment be the goal of a life

To be your tears, i could not ask for more

 

To be born in paradise

To live without compromise

Thy lips as my demise

 

Short though this life could be

But it is not without meaning

 

To be born to ease your pain

To live my life comforting you like the rain

My death so that your suffering will wane

 

If happiness be a necessity for existense

Then my being shall not be found lacking

 

Beauty be my birthright

Unconditional love be my purpose

To be part of you be my ultimate destiny

This was a beautiful and sad read, it reminds me of the romantic poetry of Pablo Neruda so full of emotion. :)
