Are Pigs Allowed To Be Hot?

Are Pigs Allowed To Be Hot?

A Chapter by Kacie Lee
"

Ronnie's at school! Her secret already leaks out, but it's okay. She's struck by how gorgeous her fellow classmates turned out to be.

"

Chase pulled up to the front of Roller Academy. The place was HUGE. When I say huge, I mean like 5 apartment buildings put together huge. I looked up in awe as Chase dragged me and my suitcase through the front door.

We made our way to the school office. "Jordan Lores." Chase said to the secretary.

I looked up at him in surprise. He just gave me a look to shut up. The secretary looked up and smiled at me. I smiled tentatively back.

"Jordan, here's your schedule, a map, and your room key. The key has your room number in it. Good luck!"

I thanked her and walked out of the office, Chase trailing behind with my stuff. I looked back at him and took my luggage.

"Thanks for everything, Chase." I waved him bye and was about to leave when he grabbed my arm.

He said, "Let me see your phone."

I gave it to him and he punched buttons for at least 5 minutes. Typical adult. He looked at me, embarrassed. Obviously he realized what a slow texter he was.

"I gave you my number, and Carol's too. Just in case you needed some girl clothes right away or something. Oh, and if you need... girl... things yeah, shes for that too.." Chase scratched the back of his head looking down.

I patted him on the back, intending to call him later to stop worrying. I said good bye for the last time and took off in search of my room. Jordan Lores, Jordan Lores, I'm Jordan Lores now. I told myself.

I already missed my name, Ronnie. Oh well, it's for school. I finally found room 645. I fit my key into the lock, and fixed my wig before entering. I saw a guy taking his shirt off with his pants already on the ground and immediately covered my eyes with my hands. I felt something tap my shoulder. I uncovered my eyes and saw the dude fully clothed now.

"What's up with you?" He asked.

I didn't answer. I knew there were cute pigs around here, but this particular one. Dayum. He was tan, and had eyes the color of murky pond water. Don't get me wrong, they were gorgeous, it's just that they were really dark green. His hair was just like my wig, but everything was longer and reddish brown. I just stared at him, probably looking like an idiot.

"Well?!" He prompted.

"Nothing," I said, finally getting my tongue to work. "I just didn't know they had co-ed rooms in here."

After I said it my hand flew up to my mouth. THAT was not supposed to happen. He looked at me funny, and I wanted to slap myself.

"Sike! Just kidding. Boy, that was a knee slapper." I covered lamely. Yeah. Not working. He looked like he was the unluckiest man on earth. Who could blame em? He probably thought he was paired with a transsexual kid or something.

I shook my head and asked, "Which beds mine?"

He pointed stiffly at the bed towards the window. Perfect. I flung myself down on the bed and curled up into the comforter. So cozy. I gave a squeal of excitement. I was in freaking school again! It felt too good to be true. I was doing a victory dance in bed when I saw my roommate looking at me again. Wow.  Not a good impression. He looked away.

 "I'm Ro-Jordan Lores." I corrected myself.

He didn't even glance in my direction as he replied, "Grayson Hutser."

His voice was guarded and not very friendly. Fine, just proves my pig theory right.

"Kay, cool." I said coldly.

I went to the bathroom, taking my toiletries and some clothes with me. Such a jerk. A gorgeous jerk. After my shower, I took my time putting on my clothes. After I blow dried my hair and put the wig on, I took a deep breath and went outside again. Grayson was nowhere to be found. I sighed with relief. Goodie.

I decided to give myself a tour of the whole place. Following the map the secretary gave me, I peeked into the cafeteria, the library, and the gym. It was all so new! I wanted to see if this awesome place had a track.

I was so absorbed in my map that I didn't know someone was walking my way until we both fell butt first onto the ground, books everywhere.

"I'm SO sorry!" I exclaimed, picking up books as fast and as neatly as I could.

While I was bending down, I felt a lock of my hair falling into my place. I tucked it behind my ear, annoyed. I still haven't heard anything from the guy I knocked down.

I glanced up and saw him staring at me, with his mouth open. Wow, this little piggy was pretty cute. What's with this school?! Is it a school for just the perfects?! I shook my head and looked at the guy again. I saw he had brown hair and freckles, and hazel eyes still staring right at me.

I blew out air, annoyed, and said, "What?"

But before he could answer, a lock of my hair fell into my face again. I pulled on it, just wanting to yank it out when I realized why the boy was staring at me like that. God, my wig must've fallen off when we collided! Not even an hour in this place and someone already knows I'm a girl. GREAT.

"Look. I can explain..."

The guy just shook his head. Even though I was nervous, annoyance flashed through me.

"WHAT are you STARING at? Is this the first time you've ever stared at a girl?"

He shook his head, his gaze never leaving mine. I rolled my eyes and bent down to pick up more of the books he dropped.

"You're hot." said a voice. My face instantly got red, from anger and embarrassment.

"Excuse me?" I asked, surprised out of my pants.

"You're hot, I said." The boy with curly hair and freckles said to me, now grinning. "Who ARE you?"

I shut my eyes and counted to 10. No, I did not want to slap this guy. No, I did not want to slap this guy. "Who are YOU?" I retorted.

"Adrian Green" he answered without hesitating.

"Ronnie Lark." I answered, dropping my whole disguise as Jordan for now. I looked around for my wig and finally found it under a History book on World War 1.

I picked it up and smirked. "World War One? No Sports Illustrated or picture books?"

Adrian blushed, and looked down. I instantly felt bad. I crouched down and patted him on the back with the hand that didn't have the wig in it.

"Kidding." I said, trying to comfort him.
      I
already missed this kid's smile. He wasn't as attractive without it.

He looked up grinning and said, "So was I."

I laughed and decided that I really did like this kid. This, is how I became best friends with Adrian Green.

                          *^*^*^*^*

Adrian told me after we cleaned up, that there was a track area where I could run. I was ecstatic. After Adrian swore he wouldn't tell anyone my secret, we went back to my room so I could get my shorts and under armor on.

"Since it was the weekend, no one would be back till late tonight," Adrian told me.

I sighed in relief and went into the bathroom to change. I took the tube and wig off, feeling a lot more comfortable with my chest not being smooshed. I walked out all ready to run. Adrian looked me up and down appreciatively. I hated under armor for being so tight. I quickly put my shoes on and a ball cap Adrian lent me.

"All set." I told him.

He nodded and stood up. He walked out of the door, and I quickly followed suit.

After a while, Adrian interrupted my story about how I got here with, "We're here!"

I grinned and sprinted towards the track, excited to be on homeland again.

"I'll keep watch just in case someone's nearby, Ronnie." Adrian called.

I nodded and waved, eager to get running. At the starting line, I took off right away, feeling the familiar thud thud thud of my pounding feet. After going around the circle for the usual 6 times, I stopped, slowing myself to a jog. I felt refreshed and like I was on the top of the world AKA amazing.

I walked over to where Adrian was standing, watching me. I hope he wasn't the whole entire time.

Blushing again, I told him, "Let's go."

He pushed off the fence he was leaning on and said, "You're fast!"

I laughed and thanked him, wanting to take a shower before Grayson got there. I told him I'd see him at dinner as I ran to my room. It took me a while to find it, but when I did it was locked. Oh no! I didn't have the room key! I quickly took a sweatshirt out of my track bag and put it on. Hopefully it would cover my chest. Then I tucked all my hair into the ball cap, and although I looked like a long headed moron, I felt like a guy-sweaty, and sticky.

I grinned, looking around for either Adrian or the cafeteria. Just as I was passing my room for the second time, I heard voices. Coming down the hall was Grayson with a group of friends. As they came closer, I couldn't help but gasp.

They were all stunningly attractive, and muscled. I wonder what their arms feel like. I shook my head. What's wrong with you? Theyre pigs, I told myself. But I couldnt help but wonder, can pigs turn into butterflies?
