SublimeA Poem by NyuWhen that wind hit me on the coldest day, I stood in it, held my body against the flowing force. There was a new direction that even the wind could not predict. Thank you for showing me how much I can thank the sun. For all those times I swore under its heat That I was destined to melt into nothingness, I have learned to love. Sometimes it feels like your look comes from outer space, A deepness to your circular lens in which you discover me. I can watch that twinkle of star. There is a reflection of blue sky above its surface, In your eyes that give me peace. You told me one day that I could be anything. Today I tell you that you are infinite. From the days that I crawled at your feet, To the ones that I turned to explore alone, I will always warm my heart with your existence. In my mind there is a treasure that persistently grows, This is you and your lights effect on my tiny world.
