Sleepy

Sleepy

A Poem by Nyu

Fingers melt with deathly force
eyes dimmed to a hazy starless sky
and all the surrounding sounds glow as one
one endless murmur

That rock so set in the earth
the water doesn't move it
and life flows past; current ignored
what was Joan to me?
all the colors are shut off.
