Rise and FallA Poem by NyuSeveral spaces ago I was there
underneath sun and smiles wrapped in layers of color warmed like the summer concrete sleeping in light blue cream watching the flickering fire with rosy eyes and guiding it closer 'till it touched my air and burned though me burned in moments like waves rising then retreating cloaking all in blurred vibrance then fading and fading to the gray haze still, quiet, clear without a change it stepped in place over and over waiting for a push © 2014 NyuAuthor's NoteReviews
