Capturer

A Poem by Nyu

Your roots reach further than earth,
Farther than any person I'd known.
This knowledge flowing,
it enlightens the world I see
Heaving out of the shadows;
"come look what I have found"
and I did.
It was gracing my head,
I held it all in.
Out of that desperation
my claws become rotten.
But before they sink into you in all your beauty
I stop
Keep it all to thoughts, to dreams
Seething in admiration,dangerously.
"You've got some too" says the shining one.
I look in the mirror once more,
No beauty do i see, the opposite of the one i look to.
But this dangerous feeling...
I am the monster in your garden.
Sinking under those waves
