Scales

Scales

A Poem by Nyu
"

hope to healing then going back to that dark place

"
The silent gaze was open for more
More then anything it had known
To fill in the cracks
These sparkling stories as healing sand
Where everything was loose and unknown
Blockages fade away
Scales melt
Tension sleeps and the unfamiliar peace is created
Let me stay here
Without anything
Free
But the calling back never stops
And memories are always planting their feet closely behind
Let the scales find their way back into the skin
Blood never promised anything anyway
