The Warp Zeon Chronicles- Chapter 7A Chapter by J."This is the strangest desert I have ever seen!" Jack thought as he walked by a strange looking cactus. Jack had been walking for nearly an hour and a half through the desert when he approached a large sand dune. Jack struggled to climb up it, constantly climbing 3 feet, and sliding back down 2 feet. He eventually got to the top. When he did, he looked over top of it, and saw specks of bright lights below. It was a revolutionized city, but did not, nearly, look as advanced as earth. But it was much more advanced than the city he had just came from. The only way down the dune was a very steep slope, nearly 7 times the length of what he had just climbed. "Huh, must be some kind of cliff for the desert, but of sand," he said. "The slope," Jack thought, "was at least more than a 90 degree angle, maybe 100. I could slide down it. But it would take a while. It's at least 700 feet down." Jack made up his mind. He took 5 steps back, started off in a dead run, and jumped as high and far as he could. Jack, at least, was in the air for 5 seconds before he hit the sand with a soft 'thud', and was sliding at a fast speed. Jack's back was burning, the sand sliding passed his back fast, and was cutting into it. He was sliding down the steep dune for 2 minutes, before finally reaching the bottom. Jack suddenly reached the bottom and slid more than 30 feet before coming to a hult. Jack lay there, back entirely skinned, and temporarily paralyzed. "Woah." that was all Jack could say.
