The Warp Zeon Chronicles- Chapter 6

The lady looked up at him, and then surprised, sprang to her feet.

"Hello, darling" she said with a sweet smile. She was an older woman, maybe in her early 60's.

"Hi, I was jus-" he said, but she cut him off in mid-sentence.

"I know I heard you," she said, "That is a Ruxton SkyFlyer 900, it's an airliner for Zeonix. You could say it's a pricey transportation for traveling."

"Oh- thanks" he said, "So this planet is, sort of, not in the stone age." he said this to himself, but outloud. The lady smiled, but you could tell she was confused with what he said.

"How do you get to- uh... the place where they launch the SkyFlyers?" he asked.

"It's 3 miles that way," she said pointing towards the direction he had just came from.

"Okay, thanks!" he announced with a huge smile. Then the woman turned around and went back to working.

So, once again, Jack started off in that direction. Soon, within 10 seconds, he was on the edge of village again.

"Should I do this?" he thought, as he looked up at the sky. The sun was now low in the sky, night was approaching. But he was not afraid. He set off.
