The Warp Zeon Chronicles- Chapter 2

The Warp Zeon Chronicles- Chapter 2

A Chapter by J.

All the lights flickered in Times Square. Jack turned around and saw a huge, bright Coca Cola sign flicker. The sign suddenly exploded into thousands of shining shards the size of a man's fist. But they never hit the ground, but intead hovered over the ground. Then the thousands of shards were rising back into the air, and stayed hovering, in front of the black billboard that was once the Coca Cola sign. The shards started to move into a formation. After moving in formation for several seconds, the shards had formed a silver tunnel right in front of the board! Then the tunnel started lengthening to the ground! It was still connected to the board, but reached the ground, and moved toward Jack, like a silver snake slithering through the air. Jack was mezmerized, his body was paralyzed with shock. The tunnel was within 10 feet of Jack, and was at least 5 feet wide. Small glass strands, the size of a thick yarn string, started slithering out of the tunnel. There were at least 4 of them. Jack finally got ahold of himself and ran. But it was too late. The strands binded at his wrists and his ankles, and then wrapped around his legs and arms, till his arms were squshed to his waist. He was stuck, and was being pulled in. To Jack's surprise, the tunnel actually was back up by the board, and was no longer down near the ground. So Jack was being pulled through the air, and was now probably 300 feet above the ground. He looked around one last time below. There was not one person down there, they had all fled when the Coca Cola sign exploded, and when the tunnel was being formed. "Jack, you are so stupid" he thought. And then the tunnel surrounded him and closed when he was inside. He was surrounded by complete darkness. "This is not good" he thought.
