The Blood Moon

The Blood Moon

A Poem by The Wolfman
"

The night all the creatures come out to play.

"
As the sun sets beneath the trees
The moon rises high above the seas
The darkness calls to all the creatures of the night
All lead by the blood moon's light

All the monsters come out to play
All the freaks make the most out of the night before the day
So many things we all try to hide within
As we watch the skeleton's in our closets be born again

Zombies and the undead claw their way above ground
Screams of chaos and anarchy come from all around
The stench of death fills the misty night air
The humans now knowing of the night that we all now share

The blood moon shows above a place infected and diseased by men
The red light, a signal for the creatures to extinguish all sin
Purifying the world, making the darkness in humanity fade
Humanity must now face judgement for all the mistakes they've made

The sun rises, It's rays reflecting off the blood stains left behind
Red liquor covers the streets where people once resigned
The hollow city showing the effects of the night before
As the creatures await for the blood moon to call upon them once more...
