'Looking Back'

Lost in my own thoughts
I look back at my life.
Both the good and the bad
All the challenges
I made it through
All laughter and tears.
I won't lie.
I wish I could go back
To fix a few things
But life isnt about reliving a moment
Its about living in the moment
Making a better today
So you can have
A better tomorrow.

Looking back use to
Bring tears to my eyes
But now looking back
I smile
Because looking at
Who I use to be
And who I am today
I can say I am proud of
How far I have come.

Looking back
Helps me remember
Where I came from
And how I got where I am.

It's my story
And I am far from done
writing my story
