Tear Drops

This is about 6 abandoned kittens thats I took in and helped them fight for their lives. To the very end. But I cant help but feel like I could have done more. I failed

'Tear Drops'

If only my tears could save yall.
As I cried
Unable to do anything but watch and pray.
As yall tiny fragile bodies struggle.
I tried and tried
The Lord knows I cried
I feel so weak
Not being able to do a thing.

Why cant my tears be enough to save yall.

I don't want to sit here and watch yall die.
But I cant bring myself to walk away.

So here I stay
With my tear drop stained face
I say goodbye
