Not Ashamed

Some people may ask.
How can you believe
What you can not see.

To that I reply
I am alive
I have fallen
But I am still standing
Not on my own strength
But on my faith in the Lord.
He makes his presents known
On his own time.
I'm not ashamed
I will not question.

They may ask.
Do you have proof of your god?

I simply say..
Look around you.
You think your science can give the world its beauty.
You think your science gives me
Strength.
The proof that the Lord is always around.
Is clear as day.

I will not judge you.
That is not my place.
I been there before.
Filled with rage and hate.
I was ornce running from the Lord
But then I realized.
How can I run from what I dont believe in.

You see
I always had faith.
But it was put in the hands of this world.
Thats when my eyes were open.
This world would not care if I had ended my life.
This world is not what called out my name.
And shaken my soul.
I would not be here
If the Lord was not real.
And thats all the proof I need.

I was once in your shoes.
Asking the same question to another.
But the answers I received
Was what stunned me.

So before you ask another question.
Let me make it clear.
