With sun watching its time to set
And Radio tuned to country music
Junio's killer strike at marbles
was interupted by his mum
asking 'If he would like sweet or salt in his porridge ? '
Sighing as the sugar tin was empty since weeks
He retorted 'I love salt in my porridge'
Standing beside the flickering lamp of his world,
His eyes gazed at every lit walls and corners of the other world.
Looking up, he murmured to his best friend
'If I could just see that shining world from near ? '
And continued to roll his marbles
His gleeful dance over his victory paused
with round lights of some Vroom Vroom
Standing before him were the green knights of his dream
Hugging and dancing they greeted him for diwali
Lighting up his whole world with glitters and stars
they bid their goodbyes
Munching on the delicacies of his heart
He couldn't stop parroting 'My world is also beautiful'.
Gleefully gazing at the glitters all around him
he winked a thank you to his best friend !
